12.11.2009 - Nimbus Water Systems First To Earn CarbonNeutral® Certifications

In December 2009, Nimbus Water Systems became the first U.S. water treatment equipment company to be awarded certification as a CarbonNeutral® company. In addition, the Nimbus WaterMaker Five reverse osmosis system achieved CarbonNeutral® product certification.

1.21.2010 - Nimbus Teams Up for Aid to Haiti

Nimbus Water Systems has partnered with Shift Power Solutions, GenPro Energy Solutions and GenPro Power Services to help bring much needed drinking water purification systems to Haiti. This effort is on behalf of LifeGivingForce and The Global Orphan Project. Read more in this excerpt from an email post to The San Francisco Chronicle, dated January 21, 2010.

"The water filtration system is a work of genius and innovation. It is designed for disaster relief and to be used off-grid with its own renewable energy system. The system can turn dirty non-potable water into clean water and can produce 18,000+ gallons of fresh drinking water per day which in turn can provide the minimum drinking needs of 30,000+ people. The system contains no hazmat (batteries are biodegradable) components and includes a chemical injector for additional sanitizing and protection (if needed).
